Even when you were a candidate they were often times vicious to you in the New York media. But he got nothing but love. His peer group owns the media, by and large. They were not interested in going at him.

I think a lot of media outlets were worried that — literally worried he might buy them some day and I think a lot of the leaders in those media outlets did not want to make waves or alienate him. And I worry about it now. And I think the American people are pretty smart. And folks who are so angry about Donald Trump, and they should be, be careful.
